Alien Godola

Alien Godola is a fictional alien villain that originated in the tokusatsu television series, Ultra Seven. His very first appearance was in episode 4, Respond, Max (October 22nd, 1967), of which the TNT title for it was Double Trouble at Sea.

Despite the character's strong resemblance to an imaginative crustacean, he is said to be a plant-based creature.

Ultra Seven

Height: 2-to-52 meters / Weight: 120 kg-to-45,000 tons

A race of crab-clawed invaders who were responsible for the disappearances of various sea ships, including the recently constructed nuclear-powered vessel dubbed the Max. They have anti-gravity powers, along with the ability to disguise themselves as humans.

At one point, a Godola impersonates Dan Moroboshi, in order to take Ultra Garrison member Anne hostage. While another Godola alien assumes the form of a beautiful woman in a go-go outfit whose stranded by the roadside, to fool Dan and steal his Ultra Eye; the device that allows him to transform between his alien and human self. Dan manages to retrieve the Ultra Eye back from the said Godola, and after defeating their leader in giant-sized combat, rescues the Max crew members being held prisoner in Earth's orbit.

The aliens' character subtitle is Anti-Gravity Alien (反重力宇宙人 Han Jūryoku Uchūjin?), while in the Turner Network Television dubbed version, they were called Korelans.

Ultra Fight

This Alien re-appeared in this series of television fighting shorts, once again with Ultra Seven.

Heisei Ultra Seven

Godola returned a third time in the made-for-video special Ultra Seven: EVOLUTION - Perfect World (July 24th, 2002)
